This other worldy life sized puppet has been gifted to me by Annie Scotland (a very skilled maker and lifelong mentor). Since the puppet’s first public outing at Bristol Museum I have transformed her into a “Rainbow Time Traveller” or “Time Travelling Lost Hippy”. She has roamed both The Park at Glastonbury Festival & Shambala Festival in 2022 & 2023
This puppet could be transformed into other characters very easily. Furthermore Annie and I have engineered her construction so that she moves fluidly with my own movements. This makes her very mobile, light weight… and a delight to operate and play.

Bristol Museum approached me to create an enchanting act to participate & engage visitors with their Museums At Night Event & “Do You Believe In Magic?” exhibition.
In response, I researched the exhibition and created simple enlarged replicas of some of the fascinating amulets and charms, treasured by different cultures around the world.
Hidden within a mysterious healer/soothsayer life size puppet, I roamed the central halls of the museum encouraging the mesmerised visitors to interact with “charms to protect from harm“
