This interactive shadow puppet show and workshop was created in response to a request from an art teacher at Clifton College after she had seen the Mexican Day Of The Dead shadow show at Bristol Museum.

Pupils create shadow puppets for Chinese New Year
“Pupils from Year 4 took part in an all-day workshop with storyteller, performer and shadow puppet theatre artist Amy Lloyd-Jones this week.
Since reading ‘How to Train your Dragon’ in class, Year 4 have become dragon experts. In their Art lessons we have been looking at dragons in different cultures. With Chinese New Year celebrations underway, it was the perfect opportunity to hear more about some Chinese dragon legends.” Quoted from Clifton College website, January 2017
“To start the workshop, pupils became puppeteers using Amy’s fantastical shadow puppets and original Chinese puppets as they re-enacted the myth of The Four Dragons, which tells of how China got its four main rivers.”
