All the shows can be used to inspire workshops in puppet making, play and storytelling. Each enquiry for a workshop is slightly different or introduces a new idea. As much as possible I happily adapt and co-ordinate with the booker’s requirements.
What my workshops always strive for is immediate and full immersion into the atmosphere of the theme…with relevant music, projections, directed and playful handling of my puppets (especially in the case of shadow puppetry). This progresses into delighted and excited questions and answers, often a performance by me and then demonstration and assistance in producing their own characters and improvised performances …and/or more polished show if required. A lot is learned and it is always fun!
