Description
This reversible soft toy dog (pictured with bunny & doll) is ready made in my studio and makes a lovely toy and/or ornament & collectible.
It also makes a very loyal companion to the Topsy Turvy Doll which you can purchase ready made or as DIY kit.
These creations are inspired by The Mexican Day Of The Dead festival: A shadow puppet version of the doll stars in my live Day Of The Dead shadow show.
I am passionate about this vibrant and joyful festival. I am also passionate about my lurcher who provided inspiration for the dog. Unfortunately she would never be quite so friendly to bunny rabbits in real life!
Dog dimensions: width 25 cm height 20 cm
This design was initially painted onto paper, using vintage and new inks. I then scanned my design and got it ready to be sent to a fabric printers in the UK where it was digitally printed onto a luxurious, soft fabric which makes the colours ping!
Warnings and recommendations:
Please keep doll, dog, bunny out of reach of under 3yrs. Keep away from heat sources and naked flames.
Fabric is 100 % Chenille (polyester). Iron on low heat without steam. Wash on delicate cycle at 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry.
This fabric has GOTS and OEKO-TEX 100 certification to ensure it does not contain harmful substances & that every part of production is sustainable & environmentally friendly. This fabric has also passed child safety EN71-3 certification.
